The Venue
We're getting married at Shottle Hall in Derbyshire. It was the first venue we visited and we fell in love with it straight away!
It was built in 1841 by the 6th Duke of Devonshire and forms part of the Chatsworth House estate. It has four acres of landscaped gardens and 14 acres of parkland with views across the Ecclesbourne Valley. So keep your fingers crossed that we get a beautiful sunny day to enjoy the gardens!
The address is: Shottle Hall, White Lane, Shottle, Derbyshire, DE56 2EB
There are two venues at Shottle Hall so please make sure you go to the Hall Entrance and not the Marquee Entrance.
If you are driving, there is plenty of free parking available just down the drive towards the house and to your right. Your car will be safe until 11am the next day so don't drink and drive!
